I went there the other night and it was a solid spot. I really enjoyed my food, and their drinks were good. Even the mocktail was surprisingly tasty! But seriously, you HAVE to try the corn ice cream. I know it sounds a little out there, but it was actually so good. The place was pretty packed, so if you're planning on going, you should definitely make a reservation. We ended up just hanging out at the bar, which was totally fine. The service was great, especially Jose and Sorona – they were awesome bartenders. Yeah, overall it was a really good experience. You should check it out sometime if you're looking for a good spot!

had to make a reservation a month out to be able to go dine at this place... it’s an old train ticket station i believe... we heard really good reviews so we had to really see or experience for ourselves... delighted to report that they are not just hype but a really legit addition to places you could go to... food drinks service all great...

We had a terrific evening at Maize. As a native westfielder I'm so happy to see this space used to such a beautiful potential. Poblano rajas and steak tartare tostada were excellent. Great cocktails. Beautiful and thoughtfully designed space.

Maize was an excellent location, beautiful venue, warm customer service and, on of the most important things to me, had AMAZING drinks and food. I tried 2 drinks, a gin drink and the margarita and they were excellent. The octopus al pastor, is one of the best octopus I have tasted!! The scallops were also delicious. Every item we ordered was amazing, even the “basic” items were perfectly spiced and well made. You can tell a lot of thought and love went into this place. PS, we were sitting at a table, but the bar was also beautiful and lively.

A very nice first experience at Maize. So pretty inside, interesting decor and the food was great. A table of 4, we all had tacos, guacamole and chips-delicious, and the corn dip. For drinks we had the house margarita, and a tequila flight. Absolutely perfect.

Maize is a relatively new bar / restaurant in Westfield, NJ. My wife and I decided to stop by for their new brunch menu. The Mexican inspired food and drinks are beautiful enough to make anyone want to stop by and grab a bite. We sipped on the Round Trip and Maize Spritz while enjoying their take on Chicken & Waffles and the Carmel sauce French Toast, yum. The atmosphere and brightness of the bar space is pleasant to sit in and enjoy a meal with friends or alone. It was nice to finally check this off the list. We will be back with friends soon!

Came for dinner with some friends and the food was delicious. The brussel sprouts are a must try - I am still thinking about them! It comes with the salmon dish but it is also available as a side dish. The salmon and the pulled pork dishes were delicious as well. We had a really good time and enjoyed the atmosphere and food.

I was really lucky to be able to get a soft opening reservation. Maize was so good and I had the best scallops and also guac and chips of my life! The food was flavorful, unique, and smooth. I really enjoyed the chicken tandoori tacos—talk about Mexican fusion! It was very easy to eat gluten-free at this restaurant. Our server was very knowledgeable and super attentive. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and very cozy. If you don't drink, make sure to get the yoga pants cocktail. It has a unique flavor and ingredients I never would have thought to put in a mocktail. I can't wait to go back with my husband and get to savor Chef Jesa's food again.
